Step back in time and tour the beautiful Thompson House in Tahlequah. This historic home was built in 1882 for Dr. Joseph M. Thompson, health officer for the Cherokees and a private practicing medical doctor. Enter the charming entryway and view the stained glass windows or explore the woodworking detail on the staircase banister. From Mrs. Thompson's loom room to the parlor, the home is fully furnished with beautiful antiques. Since 1993, this home has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Guided tours by costumed docents are available.
