The Medicine Park Cabin

This charming cobblestone one-room cabin features a queen-size bed with hotel quality mattress, a flat screen TV with DVD player, CD player, breakfast bar, Mexican tile floors and a dining area. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher and everything a guest would need in order to cook a delicious meal. The outside area includes a Weber grill, picnic table and outdoor seating.

Relax in the antique claw foot bathtub or enjoy the attached shower. Breakfast foods will be left in the refrigerator for guests as well as bottled water, soft drinks and coffee. You will enjoy a homemade pastry upon arrival. Park your boat in the extra parking space provided or stroll down the lighted river walk to nearby restaurants and shops. Medicine Park Cabin is just steps away from Medicine Creek with its picturesque walkway and is only one mile from the entrance to the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge.

Medicine Creek and many nearby lakes offer excellent fishing and boating opportunities. The Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge has a variety of hiking trails, ranging from easy to rigorous, and is famous for its rock climbing. This is a perfect location for the photographer, with the beautiful Wichita Mountains awaiting your focus.  Paddle boats can be rented in town for a leisurely float down Medicine Creek and the beautiful Ft. Sill Golf Course is just a couple miles away. There are many biking trails from leisurely to extreme. If you are a history buff, this is the area for you. Medicine Park offers great food and quirky little shops. If you hang around very long, you will probably encounter some kind of live music. Visit the Medicine Park Cabin during the winter and cozy up next to the fireplace, as fire logs are provided.

No children, smoking or pets please. The cabin is cleaned very thoroughly after each guest with organic products with no perfumed scents. Natural disinfects are used throughout.
