Queen of Sheba

Queen of Sheba in Oklahoma City is a hidden jewel offering tasty Ethiopian cuisine including traditional sauces, lamb, beef, fish and several vegetarian selections. Each guest is given a hot towel to be used throughout the meal, as Ethopian food is traditionally eaten without utensils.
Begin the meal with an order of the spiced lentils with or without meat in crispy phyllo dough. While the menu can be intimidating to some, a good place to start is with the Queen of Sheba platter. This diverse platter comes with scoops of beef, lamb, chicken, potato, chickpea and lentil dishes, as well as a side of vegetables and a salad. Each dish is expertly prepared and packs a unique flavor. The platter is served with a side of bread called injera, which is used to scoop up the food.
