Pizzeria Gusto

Pizzeria Gusto is a Neapolitan pizza restaurant in Oklahoma City's Uptown 23rd district. A unique concept in Italian food, these brick oven pizzas are specially crafted with imported ingredients from Italy and are cooked in a handmade wood fire oven from Naples. This casual restaurant with a classy look has a full bar with 11 taps, bottled craft beers, wine and seasonal cocktails to complement everything on the menu.

You'll want to try all of their topping combinations. Their pancetta pizza is made with shaved Brussels sprouts, leek, pancetta, fontina, provolone and herbs, while their lamb sausage pizza is a savory combination of mint ricotta, sausage, spinach, onions, eggplant and roasted peppers. The traditional pepperoni and margherita pizzas are classic and delicious approaches to the Neapolitan style, but their are more daring choices including the butternut squash and salmon pizzas.

Pizzeria Gusto also serves other entrees and appetizers such as fried calamari, bruschetta, steamed mussels, lamb chops, roasted carrots and fennel, meatballs, fried artichoke hearts and much more. If you are looking for a hearty meal but don't feel like pizza, their tasty salads and sandwiches will leave you satisfied. Their grilled chicken sandwiches on focaccia is topped with roasted tomato aioli, spinach, provolone and crispy pancetta and a classic caprese salad is also on the menu.

Top off everything with a bite of something sweet. They have a traditional Italian dessert of affogato with hazelnut gelato, espresso and a cinnamon-sugar ricotta donut. The chocolate tart with a pistachio crust, drunken cherries and whipped cream as well as the buttermilk panna cotta are also delicious options. There's something for everyone to love at Pizzeria Gusto.
