Built in 1903 on the outskirts of Oklahoma City, this landmark is the most visible legacy of Henry Overholser, the man known as the "Father of Oklahoma City." For years the late-Victorian Overholser Mansion was Oklahoma City's showplace and the center of social life for decades--hosting weddings, dinners, and literary events. 

In 1970, the Overholser was officially listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Take a tour of the mansion and learn the stories of not only the Overholser family, but of its servants and neighbors. Walk through the three-story chateauesque home replete with original furnishings, hand painted canvas walls and lavish fixtures.
