Located in Clinton and situated on lush 15 acres, McLain Rogers Park houses several historic WPA projects. One of the most notable is the 400-seat outdoor amphitheater, one of only two of its kind left in Oklahoma. Utilized by many Route 66 travelers in its heyday, this amphitheater still houses local talent and Broadway style productions in summer months. The historic entrance sign still glows with the neon that represented Route 66. Three pavilions, several picnic areas, a children's play park, an Olympic size swimming pool and water slide top off this well-used and historic family park. An 18-hole miniature golf course is also located at the McLain Rogers Park in Clinton.
