Built from native rock in 1902 as a home for Dr. Lane, a pioneering female doctor, the Kenton Museum is now the oldest remaining building in the hamlet. The historic home features items that helped settle No Man's Land, as well as photos, dinosaur track artifacts, kitchen furnishings, antiques and household tools. Nestled among mesas formed by ancient lava flows, Kenton is the only town in Oklahoma on Mountain Standard Time. Discover more fascinating facts from local books and postcards are available for purchase at the Kenton Museum.
