Hoot Owl Ranch is nestled in a beautiful canyon in the panhandle of Oklahoma near Kenton. Surrounded by the history of the Old West, the ranch house and barn were built in the late 1800s of hand-carved sandstone. Visitors will experience American Indian rock art and artifacts, dinosaur tracks and the nearby old Santa Fe Trail.
Enjoy bird watching in Hoot Owl Canyon, hiking or relaxing on the porch of one of the ranch's beautiful cabins. Horseback riding is available for those who bring their own horses. Oklahoma's highest peak, Black Mesa, and the Black Mesa Nature Preserve are located just a few miles from the ranch.
The ranch's two cabins feature queen-size beds with full baths, kitchenettes, microwaves and small refrigerators. Breakfast is included with any overnight stay and is served in the ranch's dining room. Cabins are non-smoking and pets are not allowed. Available to sleep up to six, the hand-carved sandstone house features a full kitchen and all of the amenities of home. Breakfast is not included with the ranch house rental.
