Hayes House is a historic home with two luxury suites available for travelers. The house was built by Oscar Hayes, whose desire was to be Oklahoma's first governor in 1907. He did not win the race, however his home still stands today. The Hayes House is an intimate and romantic destination for a getaway.
The Governor's suite is a luxurious three-room suite with a huge master bath, Jacuzzi tub for two, marble shower, dressing area, sitting room and an elegant balcony. The First Lady's Suite is a cozy room and has an adjoining bathroom with a two-person whirlpool tub/shower. Both suites are furnished with hand-carved antique French queen-size beds, goose down pillows and a goose feather mattress topper.
The manicured lawn and gardens are a perfect place to enjoy the beautiful Oklahoma weather, while the koi pond and waterfall are quiet places to sit and meditate during your stay in this historic Muskogee property.
