The Historic Greenwood Chamber brings businesses and attractions to Tulsa's Greenwood Historical District, which is historically the largest and richest of Oklahoma's African American communities. The area is full of history that dates back to the early 1900s and was once referred to as "Black Wall Street." Today, thanks to the revitalization efforts of the Historic Greenwood Chamber and other groups, the Greenwood District in North Tulsa is home to many businesses, churches, and other establishments. Visitors are also able to stop by the Welcome Center, located at 101 N Greenwood Avenue.
