Fort Gibson Chamber of Commerce promotes and celebrates one of the oldest towns in Oklahoma through economic development, information and fun community events. Head to Fort Gibson in October for the annual Smokin' the Fort BBQ & Bluegrass Festival, featuring a weekend of free concerts and mountains of tasty BBQ from cooks competing to win first in the Taster's Choice category. Celebrate wintertime at the Starlight Christmas Parade in December in Fort Gibson's historic downtown streets with marching bands, beautiful lights, festive decorations and dozens of holiday floats.
