Fort Cobb State Park

Located in southwest Oklahoma near Fort Cobb, Fort Cobb State Park offers visitors a wide variety of activities and attractions.

The park borders Fort Cobb Lake, a large lake with 4,000 surface acres for swimming, fishing, boating and water sports. Sunset Cove Marina offers boat and boating equipment rentals, boat slip rentals, a convenience store, fuel and a restaurant. There are multiple boat ramps in the park, and a bait and tackle shop makes fishing convenient. Crappie, catfish, walleye, saugeye, largemouth bass and white bass are some of the fish that can be found in Fort Cobb Lake.

The on-site Fort Cobb State Park Golf Course gives visitors a chance to play a round on a course with beautiful views of Fort Cobb Lake. This 18-hole, par 70 course offers bent grass greens, Bermuda grass tees and fairways, a wide open front nine, challenging back nine, well-placed sand bunkers and lake views. Facilities include a putting green, driving range and pro shop with club and cart rentals. The golf course can be contacted at the phone number above.

Please note that Fort Cobb State Park Golf Course does not sell beer, although golf course customers are welcome to bring their own alcoholic beverages as long as they are not in a glass container. In addition, personal coolers must be of a size that only allows a maximum of 12 cans and should be able to fit discreetly in the baskets provided. For added convenience, the golf course pro-shop has coolers available for you to borrow while you are a guest at the course. Coolers may not be removed and must be returned after use.

Fort Cobb State Park has 284 campsites offering water and electric hookups, eight sites with full hookups and 285 primitive tent sites. RV dump stations are also available. Picnic pavilions, four playgrounds and comfort stations are conveniently located throughout the park. A community building is available and is perfect for get-togethers and family reunions. Privately owned cabins are available inside the park.

***NOTICE*** Due to winterization at Fort Cobb State Park, the Black Jack Cove and Deer Run campgrounds will be closed and gated with bathrooms winterized from October 1, 2018 through April 1, 2019 (pending weather). In addition, only one restroom will remain open in White’s Catfish Cove and the Caddo Hill/Cove Road tent camping sites will remain open, though the bathrooms will be closed pending weather.

The Eagles Nest and Sunset Cove campgrounds and comfort stations will remain open.

Oklahoma State Parks are open year round, although certain areas are temporarily closed for the winter season to prevent damage to structures during inclement weather.
