Fort Cobb Reservoir

One of western Oklahoma's most popular recreational attractions, Fort Cobb Reservoir provides more than 2,000 acres of water surface for enjoyment. With 45 miles of shoreline, recreation at the lake includes sightseeing, picnic areas, camping, swimming, boating, fishing, hunting, golf and water skiing. The lake is visited by approximately 250,000 people each year.

Fort Cobb Public Hunting Area lies northwest of the lake and consists of approximately 3,500 acres of rangeland and abandoned fields overgrown with blackjack thickets. Game species include quail, rabbit, squirrel, dove, deer and turkey. Fish species include white and largemouth bass, channel catfish, bullhead, bluegill, walleye, saugeye and crappie. Additional facilities include fishing docks, a marina and playgrounds.
