Each year, the Davenport Chamber of Commerce and community members sell commemorative ornaments on the town's Christmas tree to raise funds for new historical murals. This Doctor Mural, located in the small Oklahoma town of Davenport, tells the story of a local doctor, showing his office, wife and their first car in 1914. Palmer Studios painted this mural based off old Davenport photos, and they included an early-day general store in this mural, as well.
