Grab your fishing pole and head out to Dead Warrior Lake north of Cheyenne to fish for flathead catfish, black drum and blue catfish. Cast your bait off the fishing piers and docks, or use the boat ramp and float into open water. Dead Warrior Lake's amenities consist of picnic tables, fireplaces, primitive campsites and a nature trail. Make sure to also check out Black Kettle National Grassland, located immediately east of Dead Warrior Lake.
