Arbuckle Area Council's Camp Simpson is located east of Connerville in Johnston County near Bromide, which is north of Tishomingo and south of Ada. Covering approximately 2,042 acres, Camp Simpson offers 12 campsites surrounded by trees, hills and foliage, all of which provide a natural setting for plants and wildlife including deer and turkey. This Boy Scout camp offers a variety of lodging options and recreation activities for both scout and non-scout groups. The area includes a CORE ropes course, one of the region's premier conference facilities and a private lake with excellent fishing for bass, crappie and catfish.
