Camp McFadden, located on the west shore of Kaw Lake, is a recreation camp that is open for reservations and day-use visitors. Located approximately 10 miles east of Ponca City, Camp McFadden has a variety of amenities, events and programs on its 250 acres that can suit any and all who wish to come and visit. Guests have their choice of six air-conditioned cabins, two handicapped accessible cabins, RV and tent camping and more. The handicapped-accessible cabins include bathrooms in each. In addition, a lodge with kitchen facilities is available as a meeting space.  Guests may also rent the entire camp out for a discounted price.

Camp McFadden also offers archery, hiking trails, canoeing, fishing and other such amenities. Along with these great activities, the camp also hosts a ropes course for groups with a minimum number of 10 participants who wish to grow as a group and become a more coherent group or team. Camp McFadden also hosts a variety of programs for individuals and families throughout the year. These programs include a resident summer camp for kids ages 6-18, a July 4th family night, an outdoor expo, art programs, workshops and family weekends. Camp McFadden's goal is to provide a fun, educational, uplifting, relaxed outdoor experience for all who come.
