Experience a peaceful oasis at the Chickasaw National Recreation Area in Sulphur with a stay at the Buckhorn Campground. This Army Corps of Engineers-run campground offers a mix of tent and RV sites with 30 & 50 amp electric. Many of the sites offer a waterfront view of Lake of the Arbuckles and the campground is also home to a fishing dock, boat ramp and swimming area. Set up your tent or RV, then reconnect with nature with a hike on one of the many trails throughout the area. Guests can also take advantage of the Buckhorn Pavilion. This non-electric, covered picnic area is equipped with picnic tables and charcoal grills. The pavilion is surrounded by green space, which can be used for a variety of games. Note that there is no cell phone service in Buckhorn Campground.

Loops A and B of Buckhorn Campground are open in summer and have no hookups at any of the sites. Loops C and D have some sites with hookups and some sites without. Loop C is available by reservation only. Loops A, B, and D are first-come, first-served.
