101 Ranch & Wild West Show Mural

Add to plan Remove from plan

See a collage of historic sites that dotted the famous 1910 101 Ranch on this Ponca City mural. Using research from the 101 Ranch Old Timers Association, Palmer Studios Inc. created the mural in honor of the 101 Miller Bros. Wild West Show and Ranch. This show once took up 110,000 acres of southwest Ponca City. The ranch produced rodeo talents like cowboy Bill Pickett, and some of the first Western movies were also filmed here. This site is a National Landmark, and the ranch earned a spot on the National Register of Historic Places.
